About Mike Casey:
Mike Casey was born and raised in Pittsburgh and went to college at Miami University of Ohio. Much to his parents amazement, he graduated from college. Much to his own amazement, it turned out that a Political Science degree wasn't as valuable as he expected.

1. What song is the ultimate summer song for you?
My ultimate summer song is Sly and the Family Stone “Hot Fun in the Summertime.” Clearly, it’s a solid lyrical fit. It also came out the year I was born and I remember hearing it as a little kidling. I still hear the song in “black and white”, if that makes any sense.
2. If your life had a soundtrack what would be on the playlist? Give us the highlights.
Soundtrack to my life? Yeesh…big question.
Beach Boys- Good Vibrations (they were the first concert I ever saw)
U2- Where the Streets Have No Name (teen anthem for me)
Springsteen- Jungleland (still remember the friend who played that for me on his brother’s turntable…remember those?)
Bob Dylan- anything from Freewheelin’ (my retro folky phase)
Marvin Gaye- What’s Goin On (still the greatest singer ever to grace the planet)
3. What is your guilty pleasure band?
I have more guilty pleasure bands than I can name but for the sake of keeping it short and sweet I’ll go with The Turtles (of “Happy Together” fame)
