Hi, Beau Raines here… new to being a Mountain Guide, but not new to the Mountain! I arrived here about a year and a half ago, and now the big boss is finally letting me out of my Program Director’s corner office so I can play some tunes and talk with Mountain listeners.

I’m originally from Eastern Long Island, went to college in Boston at Northeastern and almost immediately became a radio gypsy. So much so that 99.5 the Mountain is my fourth rock station along I-70 … after stops in Indy, St. Louis, and Kansas City. I must say, it’s not only the furthest west, but the best on many levels. The music all stuff I listen to at home, you’re never far away from another deep track, and I’m really proud of our new focus on the environment, along with our traditional involvement with local “homegrown” music.
