Operation Santa Wishlists
Are you looking for ways in which you can give back to your community this Holiday season…but want to make sure it is a worthwhile cause? Please consider helping “Operation Santa” at Tennyson Center for Children (TCC) (click here for more information on Tennyson Center or to make a cash donation to support our programs and services). At TCC, kids suffering from abuse, neglect, emotional crises and other traumatic experiences will get the help they need while finding healing and HOPE in a safe and caring environment.
TCC is in need of SEVERAL items to help the children and families we serve as well as to keep our cottages, classrooms and programs going strong. We have created a huge Wish List at Amazon.com with over 725 items ranging in price from $1.49 each to $20,000 each. By purchasing items off of this list you will KNOW that your contribution is something our agency wants and needs, and that it will be put to good use – each and every item was hand-picked by our staff and children.
Items include toys for the children, household items to make their stay at TCC feel more like home, items needed by the struggling famlies who are receiving therapy, counseling and treatment at Tennyson, educational tools for our classrooms, and much needed therapy tools to help in their healing process.
Buying for us on Amazon is easy: just follow the simple steps below:1. The list is set up with Tennyson Center as the Ship To address so it comes directly to our location – no need for an extra trip
2. Our Tax Exempt ID number is listed - keep your receipt and give it to your tax advisor for your tax deductible purchase
3. Each item has a TCC Item # in the comment section – PLEASE include that in your ordering so we know exactly where the item goes when it arrives.
4. There is no minimum or maximum gift. Everything on the list is desperately needed – big or small!
5. The list will update when items are purchased, so there is no worry that we will receive too many of any item.
If you don’t like to shop on-line – THAT’S OKAY – you can print the list and go to any retailer, find the item (or one similar), purchase it and bring it to us at The Tennyson Center – then just follow the steps on the Wish List to mark off that the item has been purchased (to avoid duplicates)!

GROUPS/ORGANIZATIONS – would your book club, or employee group want to join together and adopt several items? We have paper display ornaments – where we print a picture of an item, it’s price and retailer on a the back of the ornament – then you display them (on a giving tree, cubicle, window display, etc.) and your group members pick the items they would like to adopt, they purchase the item(s) on-line or in a store, and then deliver here to Tennyson Center.Call Tricia Muniz at 720-855-3358
