AUDIO: Hot Cheetos on Your Turkey

There are hundres of ways to prepare a Thanksgiving turkey, and everyone swears by a different method. We're pretty sure this prep is brand new, and we're also pretty sure we hate it. A new tip from Reynolds (the foil guys) suggests crushing up hot Cheetos and spreading them on your bird. Ew. We need to sing about this.

If you'd rather have turkey on a chip, and not the other way around, Pringles have you covered. They have introduced a Thanksgiving Dinner flavored chip that tastes like turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Seems almost futuristic!

We're not sure how many calories a Cheetos turkey would be and chips are a couple hundred, but the average thanksgiving dinner runs much higher at about 3,150 cals. That is more than a full day's worth! Add in drinks and snacks, and that total creeps well over 4,000!

An easy way to keep the calorie count low is to bail on dinner early. According to a new study, many people are doing just that, but food has nothing to do with it. Families that are at odds politically cut their Thanksgiving celebrations short by an average of 20 to 30 minutes, with Republican voters more likely to bail on Democratic families than vice-versa.

Politics aside, we hope you have a wonderful Holiday, and enjoy the 4 Course Weekend!
