Another month, another slew of classic rock album/video releases you'll want to take notice of!

Leading the list of new albums in September is Southern Blood (9/8), the eagerly awaited final album from GREGG ALLMAN which was recorded in the last few months of the legendary singer's life. Another noteworthy posthumous release will be the album 10X10 (9/29) which was the final record from guitarist RONNIE MONTROSE.

Some other heritage singers with new albums include the first recording in 9 years from smooth & smoky-voiced MICHAEL McDONALD, Wide Open (9/15), as well as the inimitable VAN MORRISON, whose Roll With The Punches album (9/22) follows his previous album by only a year.

RINGO STARR is back with Give More Love (9/15), which features a reunion with his BEATLES pal PAUL McCARTNEY and musical contributions/collaborations from (brother-in-law) JOE WALSH, EDGAR WINTER, and guitarist STEVE LUKATHER.

Fans of MOTORHEAD will no doubt be looking forward to Under Cover (9/1), which features the ultra-heavy metal masters performing other people's songs and includes a never-before-heard version of DAVID BOWIE's “Heroes.” (That song was recorded in 2015, shortly before LEMMY's death.)

A couple of cool reissues are scheduled too: ACE FREHLEY’s Anomaly Deluxe (9/8), an expanded reissue of 2009's Anomaly, The ROLLING STONES' 50th anniversary edition of Their Satanic Majesties Request (9/22), the 25th Anniversary set for the STONE TEMPLE PILOTS’ debut album, Core (9/29), and ALICE COOPER's 1976 concert movie, Welcome To My Nightmare (9/8).

There will be a number of new greatest hits packages on the way from STEVE MILLER on 9/15 (Ultimate Hits), DEEP PURPLE on 9/8 (A Fire In The Sky), and STEVE WINWOOD on 9/1 (Greatest Hits Live).

Lastly, two fantastic live releases will be available on 9/29 from both THE ROLLING STONES (From The Vault – Sticky Fingers: Live At The Fonda Theatre 2015) and DAVID GILMOUR (Live At Pompeii)!
