Did you catch "The List" tonight?  It's a new feature weeknights at 7 on The Mountain and the first ever edition was "Rocks Greatest Frontmen".  I chose Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger, Jim Morrison, Roger Daltrey, Steven Tyler, Bono and David Lee Roth.  That's my take...what's yours?  Tomorrow night on "The List"-7 bands that should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that aren't feeling the love yet.  Tune in at 7 and let me know that you think about "The List".
I enjoyed "The List" tonight. I would have to nominate Rob Halford as one of the all time greatest front men. I am not really a fan of Judas Priest, but I have seen their live stage show. I have to admit, Rob was very energetic, and made a very attractive front man. I very much enjoy "The Mountain." Thank you.
What about Lemmy?
The Guess Who , Jethro Tull and Yes- for sure. The rest are just fillers- at least that's the way I see them.Neil Sedaka anyone?
May I suggest Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull....
I don't know how you could leave off Jimi Hendrix.
I would add:
Rod Stewart (Faces), Robert Plant, Jim "Dandy" Mangrum (Black Oak Arkansas), Axl Rose (at one time), Billy Joe Armstrong, maybe even Sting?
I would have to nominate Jim Morrison, both as front man and poet.
What about Jim Morrison?
Dan, like your list, but I would also have to include The Moody Blues.
Two of the wrong gender, but what about Grace Slick & and Ms. Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Co. Let's hear from the frontwoman...
Really enjoying "the list". I seem to always get off work at 7 and coincidentally my radio landed on the List the first night. Every night I have scrambled to listen. The first night my husband came to the garage because he heard me pull in but I didn't get out. He said he could hear me rockin' through the door (I didn't know it was that loud and I'm 55 :-))
