The List-5 Greatest Classic Rock Bands

Okay, so I made a list of the 5 greatest Classic Rock Bands. As I started to pour over the rock and roll files deep inside my own brain, it occurred to me that this particular list needed a slight adjustment. I was already 8 bands in and no American band had surfaced for air. So, I bumped a brit and added my personal favorite American band in at the number 5 spot. "Classic Rock" is a term that denotes bands or artists with great album content beyond the hit records. My list is as follows;
1-The Beatles
2-The Rolling Stones
3-The Who
4-Led Zeppelin
5-Creedence Clearwater Revival-The top American rock band during the onslaught of the British invasion.
Even as I type this, my mind phone is ringing with other possibilities...Cream, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Eagles, Jefferson Airplane, Van Halen and on and on and on. But, this is my list and I'm sticking to it. Gee…I’d love to read your thoughts!
