Rock and Roll in the Movies

Tonight on The List-I played 7 of the most memorable songs from movie moments. Highlights included a fat suit, a bus ride, a boombox and a lip syncher who go the seemingly the whole of Chicago to join in...so here's tonights List;
  • You Can't Always Get What You Want-Rolling Stones-Big Chill/Perfectly sets the tone of the movie
  • Eye of the Tiger-Survivor-Rocky III/Makes us want to punch the crap out of a side of beef
  • Twist and Shout-Beatles-Ferris Buellers Day Off/Matthew Broderick Lip Synchs and the whole City of Chicago is in
  • In Your Eyes-Peter Gabriel-Say Anything/Never underestimate the "love power" of a Boombox
  • Tiny Dancer-Elton John-Almost Famous-Leave it to Cameron Crowe to turn an Elton John song into the new 99 bottles of beer on the wall
  • Dude Looks Like a Lady-Aerosmith-Mrs. Doubfire/If I have to watch Robin Williams dance in a Fat Granny/Nanny/Tranny suit, at least give me a great rock vocal to go along with it
  • Bohemian Rhapsody-Queen-Waynes World/The 8 Track properly inserted into Garth's Mirthmobile...let the headbangin' fun begin
  • Your thoughts...what did I miss?  Shoot me an e mail and we'll blog it out!
