Today on The List...I made my choices for 7 songs that win the prize for the best...something. So below you can read and see where I'm coming from on this. Feel free to add your own suggestions!
Pink Cadillac-Bruce Springsteen (Rocks Best Double Entendre)-Well, I can't tell you what it's about here, but I bet you already know
I Saw Her Standing There-Beatles (Rocks Best Opening Line)-"She was just seventeen, you know what I mean...We do!
Good Times Bad Times-Led Zeppelin (Rocks Best Drum Triplets)
Mississippi Queen-Mountain (Rocks Best Two and a Half minute song)-Plus, it has Cowbell!
Don’t Stop Believing-Journey (Rocks Best Power Ballad)
Jessica-Allman Brothers Band (Rocks Best Driving Song)
Desire-U2 (Best U2 song to use the Bo Diddley Beat)
That's it, that's The List. Tomorrow at 4-They are music’s Greatest Arena Rockers-Singers with voices so strong…they could power a small town, fronting bands which define arena rock. One female makes the list…and the top spot goes to a guy who was actually in two bands simultaneously.
