Memorable Music Moments in Major Motion Pictures

A well placed song in a movie can truly pack an emotional punch.  Tears, laughter, wonder, joy can all be inspired by awesome rock and roll product placement.  Today on The List-7 of the most memorable songs from memorable movie moments-

  •  You Can't Always Get What You Want-Rolling Stones-Big Chill/Perfectly sets the tone of the movie

  • Eye of the Tiger-Survivor-Rocky III/Makes us want to punch the crap out of a side of beef

  • Twist and Shout-Beatles-Ferris Buellers Day Off/Matthew Broderick Lip Synchs and the whole City of Chicago is in

  • In Your Eyes-Peter Gabriel-Say Anything/I think I fell in love with John Cusack when he went Boombox

  • Tiny Dancer-Elton John-Almost Famous/Leave it to Cameron Crowe to turn an Elton John song into the new 99 bottles of beer on the wall

  • Dude Looks Like a Lady-Aerosmith-Mrs. Doubtfire/If I have to watch Robin Williams dance in a Fat Granny/Nanny/Tranny suit, at least give me a great rock vocal to go along with it

  • Bohemian Rhapsody-Queen-Waynes World/The 8 Track properly inserted into Garth's Mirth mobile...let the headbangin' fun begin

Not on this list-Pete Townshend's "Let My Love Open the Door'  I omitted it in protest of it's constant appearance in films!  What would you add?

Rick
Here is a list suggestion. I don't have 7 bands so I'd like to see what else you come up with. The Mountain “The List” of 7 songs. These are pursuit of relationship songs: 1) From the innocent, Beatles, I want to Hold your Hand 2) To the obscene, The Who, You Better You Better You Bet 3) From the seductive and alluring, The Pretenders, I’m Going to Make you Notice song (Brass in Pocket?) 4) To the unabashed, Blondie, One Way or Another 5) And the Stalking, Sting/Police, Every Breath You Take 6 and 7 DJ’s Choice
