I tipped the Hi-Hat to Rocks 7 Greatest Drummers

It was an awesome set on "The List" tonight.  Rocks 7 Greatest Drummers were hard at work making the room shake!  I must tell you, it was a tough call for me on the top two.  It's probably one of those if you ask me again tomorrow questions...I might just change my mind.  Here is "The List" tonight-Rocks Greatest Drummers;
  • 7-Ringo Starr-Phil Collins, Max Weinberg huge fans.  Max says he is one of the top Five drummers...period.
  • 6-Stewart Copeland-Intricate, textured...unpredictable!
  • 5-Ginger Baker-Pure Power and Presence
  • 4-Bill Bruford-With King Crimson, Yes and Genesis on tour-a master of Progressive Rock
  • 3-Keith Moon-Frenetic, Flamboyant, Brilliant!
  • 2-Neil Peart-With Rush and the worlds largest Drum Kit-True perfection.
  • 1-John Bonham-Just listen to Good Times Bad Times...Nuff said.
So, that's it...that's The List.  Tomorrow night at 7 I'll spotlight The Mountains top 7 female vocalists.  Number one may surprise you.  Join me!

I won't fight you on Aimee Mann if you include Joni Mitchell in the top 7. Big Yellow Taxi is a great example of her vocals and radio listenable even by the mountains standards.
